On occasion, you may want to print a test check.  For example, you might realign the micr line on the check and you want to test the placement.

1. Proceed as if you were writing a check.
2. In the PAY TO THE ORDER OF area of the capture screen, enter $$ as the pay to party.
3. Fill in the rest of the check info with any info you desire – none of this will be captured by the system.
4. When you select SAVE, a test check will be sent to the print widget. No information that you;ve just entered will be captured.  The balance will not change and the check number will not be increased.
